Hike for Youth is an active, outdoor fundraising event that raises money to help connect kids to the outdoors. On Saturday, September 12, 2009, hundreds of people will hit the trails of Golden Gate Canyon State Park to show their support for three local programs that get kids off the couch and into the woods.

Participants can register for a variety of hikes, or for the inaugural 10K Trail Run for Youth, individually or with a group of friends. Hikers and runners will then raise pledges to support the three benefiting agencies. Top fundraisers will win great prizes and everyone will enjoy food, entertainment and fun at the after-hike party.
