Once registered, create your own fundraising page and collect pledges online. You may also download the pledge form and collect them directly. Be sure to keep the pledge form to record your pledges and turn them in by 11 a.m. on the day of the Hike to count for fundraising prizes.
Pledge Raising
All hikers are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges to support their favorite benefiting agency, or all three (please indicate who your pledges should benefit on your registration information). Prizes will be awarded to the individuals and teams that raise the most money: Cool stuff like outdoor gear, REI gift certificates, digital cameras and more! All youth that raise a minimum of $50 will receive an REI gift bag in addition to any other prizes they might win.
Bring your pledge form and pledge money with you on the morning of the Hike. Checks should be payable to Hike for Youth.
